The Tewet family field is the largest of our camp fields with 51 pitches.

Tewet is the largest of our camp fields. It is our original and oldest camp fields and is surrounded by a mature hedge, helping to guard against windy weather. Tewet benefits from 360 degrees views, and it is a relatively flat field with a very slight incline at the top.

This field is perfect for family camping as it is near the amenities. It has large and super-size pitches recommended for extra-long tunnel tents or 2 medium-size tents. Pitches are numbered and divided by small picket fences. The super pitches back up to a large hedge.

Campervans: – Converted transit van/VW size camper vans and short-wheel based are accepted on the large pitches. Long wheel-based camper van chooses a Super pitch. (auto-sleepers or motorhome, these are not permitted on grass pitches)

Camping:- we accept the larger family tents up to 7-metres on the Tewet super pitches

Roof Tents:- we accept roof tents.

Folding Campers:- we accept folding campers on the super pitches

Trailer Tents:- we accept trailer tents on the super pitches

It is a popular field for family camping as it has super-size pitches as well as large-size pitches. The super pitches can take a tent + gazebo or 2 medium size pitches and up to 2 vehicles…No groups, immediate family members only, parents and adult siblings.

If your unit is a wide unit, please consider the overall dimension cannot exceed 7metres wide, vehicle, tent / awning, (attachment if using), and guide ropes must fit on your pitch.

The Skiddaw field is our middle-size field with 29 pitches.

Skiddaw is a beautiful large open camp field. Each pitch has outstanding panoramic views of the Skiddaw Mountain range and the other mountains and hills surrounding it. The positioning of this field not only gives breath-taking views it also offers amazing sunsets and captivating dark skies for the star-gazing enthusiast. 

Skiddaw field has large and super-size pitches. Each pitch is divided by small picket fences, Super pitches back up to a large hedge. Large pitches are situated in the centre of the field and back up to a small banking with an evergreen hedge. This is particularly popular for campervans as it is a very level field.

Skiddaw field is mostly a flat field making it is very popular with campervans. It is a little further from the amenities. The Skiddaw field has amazing views across the mountain landscape, is our most exposed field, but also our most scenic! Due to the field been very open to the elements and because of our mountain location, road noise can be heard from the A66, (half a mile away) if this is a problem please choose our most sheltered field, Tewet.

The Blease field is our smallest-size field with just 20 pitches.

Blease camp field has breath-taking views of the surrounding mountain ranges including the Blencathra mountain. This is a small camp field with a quiet, cosy sheltered feel. No Group Bookins allowed.

Blease field has large and super-size pitches. Each pitch is divided by small picket fences, Super pitches back up to a large hedge and all large pitches back up to a small banking with an evergreen hedge. This field is very popular with guests who want a quiet peaceful location.

NO DOG AREA.

Blease fields the smallest of our fields with a cosy tranquil feel. Blease field also has the smallest size super-size and large size pitches. We recommended smaller-size family tents or short / medium-wheel-based campervans.
